1. About Now Home Improvements
Now Home Improvements Ltd ("we", "us", "our", "the Platform") operates nowhomeimprovements.co.uk, a lead generation platform connecting UK homeowners with vetted home improvement trade companies.
By accessing or using this platform — whether as a homeowner or a partner company — you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Definitions
"Homeowner" means any individual who submits a lead request through our platform.
"Partner Company" means a trade business registered with us to receive qualified leads.
"Lead" means a homeowner enquiry that has been received, processed, and assigned to a Partner Company.
"Qualified Lead" means a Lead assessed by our AI qualification process and confirmed as a genuine, contactable enquiry.
"Credits" means the pre-purchased tokens used by Partner Companies to receive Leads. One Credit = one Qualified Lead delivered.
"Platform" means the website, AI systems, and associated services operated by Now Home Improvements Ltd.
3. Our Service
Now Home Improvements is an intermediary platform. We connect homeowners with trade companies. We are not a party to any contract made between a homeowner and a Partner Company. Any agreement for works, pricing, timelines, or service quality is entirely between those two parties.
We do not employ tradespeople and accept no liability for the quality, cost, or outcome of any work carried out.
4. Homeowner Terms
4.1 Our platform is free to use for homeowners.
4.2 By submitting a lead, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, genuine, and relates to a real requirement at the address given.
4.3 You consent to being contacted via WhatsApp by our AI qualification agent within 60 seconds of submission to confirm your job details.
4.4 You consent to your contact details and job description being shared with one vetted Partner Company in your area, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4.5 We make no guarantee that a suitable Partner Company will be available in your area at the time of your submission. Coverage varies by postcode and is continually expanding.
4.6 Submitting false or misleading information, or misusing our AI qualification system, may result in your data being blocked from the platform.
5. Partner Company Terms
5.1 Partner Companies must complete our onboarding process and provide accurate business information, including valid trade insurance.
5.2 Partner Companies agree to respond to every Qualified Lead assigned to them within 24 hours. Failure to make contact within this period may result in the lead being reassigned. Credits are still deducted regardless of response time.
5.3 Partner Companies must use homeowner data solely to respond to the specific lead for which it was provided. Reselling, bulk marketing, or otherwise misusing lead data is prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension.
5.4 Partner Companies must conduct themselves professionally in all interactions with homeowners and comply with all applicable UK trade regulations, licensing requirements, and codes of conduct for their sector.
5.5 Partner Companies may not contact homeowners on behalf of any third party or pass lead data to any other business without written consent from Now Home Improvements Ltd.
6. Credits and Payment
6.1 Leads are paid for via a pre-purchased Credit system. The current rate is £80 (+ VAT where applicable) per Credit. This rate may change with 30 days' written notice.
6.2 Credits are purchased in advance. There are no monthly subscription fees — you only pay for the leads you receive.
6.3 One Credit is deducted per Qualified Lead delivered to a Partner Company, regardless of whether that lead results in a booked job.
6.4 Credits do not expire, except in the event of account termination for breach of these Terms, in which case unused Credits will be forfeited.
6.5 Partner Companies will be warned when their Credit balance reaches 2 or fewer Credits. It is the Partner Company's responsibility to maintain a sufficient balance.
6.6 We reserve the right to pause lead delivery to a Partner Company whose Credit balance reaches zero.
7. Refund Policy
7.1 Credits are non-refundable as a general rule.
7.2 A Credit may be returned in the following limited circumstances only:
(a) The homeowner's phone number is invalid or non-functional, reported within 7 days of receiving the lead.
(b) The homeowner's email address bounces, reported within 7 days.
(c) The lead was submitted with demonstrably fraudulent information.
7.3 A Credit will NOT be refunded on the grounds that:
(a) The homeowner did not respond after initial contact.
(b) The homeowner chose another trade company.
(c) The job was smaller or different than expected.
(d) The Partner Company did not contact the homeowner within the 24-hour window.
7.4 All refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@nowhomeimprovements.co.uk within 7 days of receiving the lead.
8. Lead Quality
8.1 All leads are processed by our AI qualification system before delivery. This system is designed to filter out duplicate, fraudulent, or incomplete submissions.
8.2 Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that every lead will result in a booked appointment or completed job. We sell access to qualified homeowner enquiries — not guaranteed conversions.
8.3 We make no warranty, express or implied, as to the suitability of any lead for any particular trade or service.
9. Data Protection
9.1 Both parties agree to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 in all processing of personal data shared through the Platform.
9.2 Partner Companies act as independent data controllers in respect of any homeowner data they receive. They are responsible for handling that data lawfully and for responding to any data subject requests made directly to them.
9.3 Partner Companies must not retain homeowner data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was provided.
9.4 A Data Processing Agreement is available upon request for Partner Companies who require one.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
• Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information to the Platform
• Attempt to circumvent our AI qualification system
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit lead data
• Attempt to contact homeowners outside the scope of their submitted enquiry
• Impersonate any person or organisation
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
Violation of these prohibitions will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to relevant authorities.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Now Home Improvements Ltd is not liable for:
(a) Any loss of profit, revenue, or business arising from use of the Platform
(b) The quality, safety, or legality of any work carried out by a Partner Company
(c) Any dispute between a homeowner and a Partner Company
(d) Any failure by a homeowner to respond to contact from a Partner Company
(e) Any technical failure, downtime, or interruption to the Platform
11.2 Our total liability to any Partner Company shall not exceed the value of Credits purchased by that Partner Company in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11.3 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Note: UK law (including the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977) may limit the enforceability of certain liability exclusions. This clause requires legal review before publication.
12. Suspension and Termination
12.1 We may suspend or terminate a Partner Company's account immediately and without notice if:
(a) The Partner Company breaches any provision of these Terms
(b) We reasonably believe the Partner Company has acted dishonestly or in a way that may harm homeowners
(c) The Partner Company's trade insurance lapses or is cancelled
12.2 On termination for breach, unused Credits will be forfeited.
12.3 On termination for any other reason with 30 days' notice, unused Credits will be refunded in full.
12.4 Partner Companies may close their account at any time by emailing hello@nowhomeimprovements.co.uk.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active Partner Companies of material changes via email with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith mediation. If mediation fails, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
